we came back home because school tests were still a thing. the contrast was funny as hell: one week we were in Bangalore trying to explain a startup to strangers, the next we were back in Kanpur with coursework and deadlines.
people knew about the conversations, the YC credits, and the Grad Capital offer. they encouraged us, which was nice, but encouragement only matters when it turns into work. around then we met Aditya Bhatia, who became our third co-founder.
the team changed immediately. Pavitra was the original push to apply. Aditya brought another builder's way of looking at the problem. three people do not automatically make a company, obviously, but they do make it harder to vanish when the build gets hard and everyone is tired as fuck.
